Student Support Specialist

A SEMH & Inclusion Coach is required to work with a Secondary School in Solihull to support students with emotional regulation, wellbeing and access to learning.
Key Responsibilities:- Promote student independence in learning and develop social and emotional skills.
- Establish and maintain contact with families/carers of supported students.
- Develop knowledge of agencies and activities available to support vulnerable students.
- Encourage students to interact and work cooperatively.
- Use assessment tools to identify students' needs and provide mentoring/coaching.
- Monitor progress, achievements, and development needs of individual students.
- Deliver one-on-one and small group mentoring/coaching sessions for students.
- Advocate for identified students by taking a lead role in their support and progress.
