Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Student Support Coordinator at Global Banking School. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional student support services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive support to students, encompassing academic guidance, IT assistance, and referrals to relevant services.
  • Maintain accurate records of student contact and attendance, ensuring timely follow-ups with students who require additional support.
  • Collaborate with academic colleagues to identify and address common academic and IT-related issues affecting students.
  • Work closely with the Retention Team to ensure that students who are disengaged or struggling receive the necessary support and resources.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of GBS's support services and partner organizations, facilitating seamless access for students.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree and typically 5 years of administrative experience in a Higher Education setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including active listening, excellent written and verbal communication, and a customer-focused approach.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook Mail.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of flexibility.
  • A strong commitment to confidentiality, tact, and discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a willingness to go above and beyond to meet student needs.
