At Allied Talent Partners, we are seeking a skilled Climate Finance Expert to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional to help mobilize private-sector capital into the distributed renewable energy sector in Sub-Saharan Africa. The successful candidate will work closely with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) to develop and implement financial structures and instruments for mobilizing long-term, local currency debt in the DRE sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial structures and instruments for mobilizing long-term, local currency debt in the DRE sector.
  • Conduct financial assessments and due diligence on DRE investment opportunities.
  • Perform market soundings with stakeholders and benchmark financing structures.
  • Track and report on portfolio performance within the DARES program, ensuring alignment with M300's objectives.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with key M300 initiative stakeholders, investors, and government representatives.
Requirements
  • An MBA or equivalent master's degree in finance.
  • 10-12 years of relevant work experience, with demonstrated expertise in emerging market finance, capital markets, and infrastructure financing.
  • A strong track record in sourcing, structuring, and closing investments in the infrastructure sector, ideally in Africa.
