About the Role

The City of London Corporation is seeking a Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager to join the Barbican's Development department. This role will lead on developing and securing new partnerships with companies to support the Barbican's arts, learning, and community programmes.

The successful candidate will devise the Corporate Partnerships business development strategy, developing new high-value opportunities to deliver against team income targets. They will oversee the business development target, managing their own prospect pipeline and that of the wider Corporate Partnerships team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build on their business development and leadership skills. The Barbican is undergoing a period of renewal, with a new Director for Arts and Participation recently in post and other new key senior leadership positions. We are looking for someone who can join us to develop new and exciting partnership propositions, instigate new ways of working, and attract new partners to work with the Barbican.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the Corporate Partnerships business development strategy
  • Manage the business development target and prospect pipeline
  • Lead on all business development activity for the Corporate Partnerships team
  • Deputise for the Head of Corporate Partnerships as required
  • Act as a mentor and coach to the Corporate Partnerships Manager and Officer
