Cranswick Country Foods in Watton, Norfolk is dedicated to producing high-quality pork products. We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Production Shift Lead.

Job Requirements:

  1. Reporting to the Line Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the production line.
  2. You will be responsible for the labelling equipment on the line, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  3. Responsible for completing paperwork for production in real-time, maintaining accurate records.
  4. Ensuring a good standard of housekeeping and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) of the area, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  5. Complete production checks using the Vision for Food system, e.g. Gas checks, Seal integrity checks, Verifier Checks etc., ensuring products meet customer specifications.

Shift Pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off. Hours 6am – 5pm

Requirements:

  1. Be self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative, taking ownership of tasks and responsibilities.
  2. Enjoy working to targets in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and achieving goals.
  3. Possess high standards of work, maintaining attention to detail and quality.
  4. Have a basic level of both written and verbal English, effective communication skills.
  5. Enjoy working as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common objectives.
  6. Have experience of working within the food production industry, understanding production processes and procedures.
