Senior Care Officer

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Care Officer to join our team at Throstle Nest, a new children's home for children with learning disabilities and/or autism.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and plan shifts to ensure the highest standard of care for our young people.
- Manage risks effectively to create a safe and nurturing environment.
- Supervise and train staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide excellent care.
- Collaborate with multiple agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for our young people.
- Make day-to-day decisions aligned with the young person's care plan.
- Experience working with young people with autism or disabilities.
- QCF Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
- Enthusiastic, solution-focused, and child-centered approach.
- Supervisory experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Must be a car driver and have access to their own car due to the location of the home.
- Comprehensive induction, regular supervision, and ongoing training opportunities.
- Full training including opportunities for career development.
- Enhanced pay for weekend and evening hours.
- Double time and time off in lieu for Bank Holidays.
