Traffic Management Business Development Leader

About the Role
We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Business Development Manager, specializing in the Traffic Management sector. This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to our continued growth and success by developing new revenue streams from major clients across East Anglia and North London.
You will play a key role in collaborating with sales and account management teams to implement a strategic commercial plan for our products, ensuring high ROI and alignment with Sunbelt Rentals' business objectives.
Your Responsibilities:- Develop and execute a performance management process for the Traffic Management Sales community, focusing on capability enhancement, call activity optimization, portfolio growth, and regional expansion.
- Manage and cultivate a Regional project and portfolio pipeline to drive new business growth through diverse sales channels and industry sectors.
- Design and coordinate training programs to elevate product knowledge and working at height safety awareness across relevant Sales Channels and Hire Desks, fostering teams of trusted advisors.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure campaigns and collateral effectively align with new products, services, and underutilized offerings.
- Identify emerging markets and untapped sectors within the industry, developing strategic initiatives to gain market share and traction.
- Establish robust systems and controls for pricing strategies, enhancing governance, discounting practices, and overall ROI.
- Promote cross-selling opportunities across all divisions of Sunbelt Rentals.

About You:To excel in this role, you will possess a proven track record of success in account management within the Traffic Management industry. Ideally, you have experience in sales or contract management roles. Your ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and lead successful tender bids is essential.
You are a collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic environment. You possess excellent communication and presentation skills, both internally and externally. Your commercial acumen ensures you can propose and secure profitable contracts.
