This is a remote position in the UK.

Business Development Manager - MyWork is an established FinTech Mortgage Brokerage that provides a broad range of bespoke financial services products across the UK.

Due to year-on-year growth, MyWork is actively seeking an experienced, resilient, and target-driven Business Development Manager to contribute towards developing new relationships within the intermediary market, while promoting our products: Protection Insurance, First Charge Mortgages, Secured Loans, and Bridging.

Responsibilities:

  • On-board new brokers to the intermediary panel.
  • Work closely with the Mortgage Customer Service Representatives to develop a collaborative working environment and maintain healthy working relationships with colleagues, external, and internal stakeholders.
  • Identify new business opportunities while maintaining existing broker relationships.
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, system developments, and lending criteria.
  • Outbound calling to gain new business from brokers to gain updates and follow up on any new enquiries.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as a telephone Business Development Manager within the mortgage industry.
  • Familiar with FCA regulations.
  • Knowledge of Mortgage Clubs, Mortgage Industry, and Networks.
  • Proven experience of managing and building business relationships to increase market share within the mortgage industry.
  • A solid understanding of the mortgage lending criteria and delivering new enquiries to the teams' underwriters.
  • Ability to analyze business trends, identify potential risks, and escalate these where necessary.
