The Head of Commercial Revenue Growth will join our small team in the UK to support NZ Rugby and NZ Rugby Commercial.
PurposeGrow and develop NZRC's commercial revenue by identifying new partnerships, developing commercial inventory, and wider IP-based revenue opportunities.
This role focuses on delivering strong growth in revenues from traditional sponsorship assets across 3 key offshore markets: EMEA, North America, and Asia Pacific, with a focus on Japan.
Responsibilities- Business Results:
Deliver revenue growth from traditional sponsorship assets.
Work with the GM to update sales plans and deliver against revenue objectives. - Develop Opportunities and Properties:
Review and update the commercial sales architecture to maximise revenue opportunities.
Manage and optimise commercial assets and opportunities. - Identify and Research Prospects and Generate Leads:
Unify NZRC's databases of prospect companies into one system.
Take lead responsibility for managing the commercial database. - Manage Channels and Contact Programme in Market:
Update NZRC's international market strategy.
Manage outreach activities and channel partners.
- 10 years' experience in front-line sales or business development.
- Broad experience working on negotiations in an international sporting environment with multi-national brands.
Based in the UK, this role offers a competitive salary of $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a dynamic work environment and opportunities for career growth.
