We are seeking a highly skilled Trusts Administrator to join our esteemed team at Ashtons Legal LLP. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a portfolio of trusts, administering annual accounts and tax returns, while collaborating with our Private Client lawyers and Ashtons Legal Trust Corporation directors.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of post-qualification experience in trust administration, with a strong understanding of personal tax returns, inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and CGT 60-day knowledge. A basic understanding of STEP qualifications and experience in preparing trust accounts and tax returns would be advantageous.

We offer a competitive salary of £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to explain complicated legal processes in a clear way to clients, and strong relationship building experience. The successful candidate will also have experience of dealing with professional intermediaries, trustees, and beneficiaries, as well as liaising with HMRC on behalf of trustees and beneficiaries.
