Administrative Compliance Coordinator

We seek an Administrative Compliance Coordinator to join our MHA Compliance Team on a fixed-term, part-time contract. This role involves maintaining in-depth knowledge of the 1983 Mental Health Act and providing administrative support for its administration and application.
Main Responsibilities- Develop a deep understanding of the Mental Health Act and convert this knowledge into detailed administration.
- Liaise with Social Services Departments and other stakeholders to facilitate patient 'sectioning.'
- Manage administrative tasks for Managers Hearings and Mental Health Tribunals, ensuring patients are informed about their rights.
- Support the wards in processing Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards requests and authorisations.
- Maintain accurate patient records, following Trust procedures.
- Good educational background to GCSE/A Level
- English Language GCSE grade C or above, or equivalent
- Relevant experience in administration
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Word and Excel
- NHS pension scheme
