Administrative Coordinator

Eastern Community Assistance Team (EA-CAT) is a not-for-profit organisation based in Suffolk. The charity relies on 100% voluntary members who dedicate their time and skills to support various charitable organisations, community groups, healthcare professionals, emergency services, and council-led initiatives.
The team's duties can range from marshalling and PR events to public interaction opportunities and extreme weather assistance with transport services. Examples of supported organisations include St. Elizabeth Hospice, St Nicholas Hospice, community fairs, parades, and Suffolk County Council.
As a non-voting position within the committee, the 'Secretary' role involves record keeping, internal communications, and administrative tasks such as organising meetings, taking minutes, managing correspondence, and updating records.
The ideal candidate will be IT literate, have access to a suitable device, and possess excellent organisational and communication skills. Previous experience in a secretarial role is desirable, along with knowledge of charitable governance and micro-charity compliance.
In exchange for their time, the successful candidate will receive comprehensive training on software and systems used by EA-CAT, ID card and branded High Vis Vest, and the opportunity to make a difference in their community.
