We are seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to join our team at Mansell Recruitment Group. As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the production department, including personnel, equipment, and resources. Your expertise will be crucial in managing production timescales, working within contract budgets and timescales, and ensuring quality control and packing.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing the production department, including personnel, equipment, and resources

Holding contract meetings with the engineering department to manage production timescales

Working within the contract budgets and timescales, including quality control and packing

Responsible for maintenance and organisation of main workshop and other workshop areas including the Machine Workshop and Development Workshop

Liaise with machining suppliers and subcontractors

Ensure that the Company Safety Policy is implemented at all times and provide a safe working environment

Attend and report to management meetings

Liaise with the admin department to provide cost estimates for manufactured parts

Requirements:

Strong people management experience

Proven experience as a Production Manager

Hands-on production background and progressed into management

Strong planning and deadline management

It is highly beneficial if candidates have knowledge of assembly, machining and inspection procedures

We offer a competitive salary of up to £45k, 25 days holiday (plus 8 bank) and other benefits.
