Job Title: Senior Residential Care Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Residential Care Manager to join our team at Holistic Support Services.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of care staff in a residential setting, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to delivering high-quality care and support.
  • Delegating tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Providing training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and knowledge of care staff.
  • Participating in on-call rota and responding to out-of-hours calls as required.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely completion of daily reports, health and safety checks, and care plans.
  • Working in partnership with the Deputy Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the service.
  • Assisting with supervisions and appraisals to support the development of care staff.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Diploma in Children's Residential or equivalent.
  • Experience of working in a residential care setting, preferably in a leadership or management role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and lead by example.
