Job Title: Children's Residential Manager

Job Summary:

Exceptional Care is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children's Residential Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest levels of care and service are provided to children and young people in our residential settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the residential home provides and maintains the highest levels of care and service in accordance with the company's mission, vision, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide professional support, training, guidance, and supervision to residential staff.
  • Support the team to ensure person-centred care plans are established, renewed, maintained, and implemented for each child or young person.
  • Manage effectively and efficiently all allocated resources of the home, financially.
  • Support the plan of the daily and weekly management of the home, ensuring that shift leaders and Home Managers carry out their duties and responsibilities.
  • Work with professional colleagues to ensure each child or young person's best interests are identified and plans established to meet them.
  • Work with the Responsible Individual to implement, create, and monitor a framework of care systems to enable the above.
  • Devise and deliver a home rota, ensuring that the requirements are met, in respect of the allocation of staff and needs of the children placed.
  • Be involved and adjudicate in staff disciplinary procedures.

Requirements:

  • NVQ L3 / L4 Children and Young People's Workforce
  • NVQ L5 Leadership and Management
  • 2 years' experience in a children's residential setting at senior level
  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence
