Mental Health Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust. As a Band 5 Mental Health Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to patients with mental health needs in our inpatient services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized care to patients with mental health needs, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, identify patient needs, and develop strategies to promote recovery and independence.
- Deliver evidence-based interventions, including medication management, therapy, and education, to support patient well-being and recovery.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and carers to ensure their needs are met and they are empowered to take control of their care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that enhance patient care and safety.

Person Specification- Registered Mental Health Nurse with current NMC registration.
- Experience in mental health nursing, preferably in inpatient services.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
