Financial Transaction Coordinator

This is a temporary position as a Financial Transaction Coordinator, working on a full-time basis for circa 3 months with the possibility of becoming permanent. The role requires you to work 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Your New Role:- Verify supplier invoices against a Group-wide Purchase Order system
- Post supplier invoices onto the accounting software
- Resolve discrepancies prior to payments to suppliers
- Assist in raising monthly payment runs
- Manage the Group's Purchase Order System, including rolling out the system to new sites and ensuring compliance across the Group
- Complete supplier statement reconciliations to ensure all invoices have been received
- Implement Group-wide supplier contracts and accounts
- Support other ad-hoc Purchase Ledger and Finance tasks as required
- Raise all invoices within agreed timescales and identify ways to improve the process
- Contact Local authorities to resolve any issues with invoices
- Cash posting
- Reconcile customer accounts
- Participate in the annual audit for Accounts Receivable related samples
- Produce management information to analyse debtors and collections
- Update and maintain billing schedules and reconcile changes to financial ledgers
- Support the Commercial department in setting up new local authorities and maintaining master data
Estimated Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum
