About the Role:
In this exciting opportunity as an Accounts Manager, you will have the chance to make a real impact on the financial performance of our client's diverse group of businesses based in Carlisle. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all financial transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Managing financial transactions across multiple Group companies
  • Coordinating with Directors to inform strategic business decisions
  • Recording project expenditure and billing customers
  • Evaluating subcontractor tax statuses and deductions
  • Preparing and reconciling CIS returns
  • Processing payroll and VAT returns

Requirements:
Proven experience in a similar accounting role
Strong understanding of Sage software
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

Salary: £32,000 - £37,000 per annum
