We are partnering with a Local Authority in Enfield to provide visiting support services. The successful candidate will work on a 2.5-month contract, with the possibility of extension at the client's discretion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality visiting support services, working across the Assessment Hub as a pooled resource to ensure effective operation of the services.
- Understand and respond to customer needs, providing technical assessment and collection advice and guidance, both written and verbal.
- Develop skills and knowledge to deliver support services in a consistent and efficient manner.
- Deal professionally with a wide range of contacts, using tact and discretion, and assess needs to re-direct enquiries where necessary.
- Resolve customer enquiries at all levels, ensuring relevant systems are updated and adequate audit trails are in place.
Requirements:
- Business administration or Local Government professional qualification in collection/benefit/welfare reform services or equivalent.
- Experience of providing visiting services, with a successful track record.
- Adaptability and willingness to be part of a pooled resource across the assessment hub.
- Experience of dealing with income-related and other claims, changes in circumstance, and other enquiries within a collection/assessment-related environment.

- You should be available to work immediately or at short notice.
- You should have the right to work in the UK.
- This role requires an enhanced DBS.
