We are working closely with a Local Authority in Enfield to assist with the appointment of a Visiting Officer, on a 2.5-month contract, with potential for extension. Please submit your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £16.54 - £20.71 per Hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality visiting support services, working across the Assessment Hub as a pooled resource to ensure effective operation.
  • Understand and respond to customer needs, providing technical assessment and collection advice, and presenting a positive and professional image.
  • Develop skills and abilities to deliver support services consistently and efficiently.
  • Deal professionally with contacts from various backgrounds, using tact and discretion, and re-directing enquiries as necessary.
  • Resolve customer enquiries at all levels, ensuring relevant systems are updated and audit trails are in place.

Requirements:

  • Business administration or Local Government professional qualification in collection/benefit/welfare reform services or equivalent.
  • Experience in providing visiting services, with a successful track record.
  • Adaptability and willingness to be part of a pooled resource across the assessment hub.
  • Experience in dealing with income-related claims, changes in circumstance, and other enquiries within a collection/assessment environment.

Please note:

  • You should be available to work immediately or at short notice.
  • You should have the right to work in the UK.
  • This role requires an enhanced DBS.
