United Living Group is seeking a highly skilled Construction Manager to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for the effective management and delivery of multiple Energy contracts.
Key Responsibilities:- Programme Management: Ensure programme requirements are met while working in line with Company and divisional objectives.
- Contract Management: Manage contracts to achieve targets in respect of safety, time, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Site Management: Oversee the management of construction activities, including constructability input, delivery team management, resource planning, and liaison with the Project Manager.
- Quality and Safety: Ensure comprehensive method statements and risk assessments are in place, and works are carried out in line with HSE and ULE requirements.
- Cost Control: Manage costs, including manpower, materials, plant, and vehicles.
- Health and Safety: Liaise with the Health & Safety Manager to improve standards through joint site inspections and reviews of site monitoring results.
- Project Coordination: Ensure materials, plant, equipment, and resources are scheduled and available to meet site requirements.
- Site Personnel Management: Manage site personnel, including recruitment, discipline, manpower planning, employee development, communication, and man management.
- Experience: Extensive experience of delivering multidiscipline construction projects, ideally with Gas Pipeline and/or AGI/Compressor Station experience.
- Certifications: EUSR SHEA Gas competency, Supervisory Management Training, CSCS Managers Card, IOSH/SMSTS.
- Travel: Willing to travel on a weekly basis.
- Driving License: Full UK driving license.
