Project Director

Job Overview

United Living Group is seeking a skilled Project Director to manage gas transmission and distribution contracts nationwide. The ideal candidate will have experience in programme management, commercial awareness, and NEC contract management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects to achieve targets in safety, time, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and implement project delivery plans, including short-term programmes and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, health and safety regulations, and environmental management standards.
• Lead a team of professionals, promoting high standards of health and safety, quality management, and commercial awareness.
• Monitor project progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with the commercial team to ensure alignment with business objectives and client expectations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in gas transmission and distribution project management.
• Commercial and programming awareness, with experience in NEC contract management.
• Site management safety certificate (SMSTS / IOSH Managing Safely).
• Proven track record of successful project delivery from start to finish.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programmes, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience working with National Grid, Cadent, Northern Gas Networks, or Scotia Gas Networks is advantageous.
