Support Worker for Adults with Learning Disabilities

Lifeways Specialist Support Services offers a rewarding career opportunity for a Support Worker to join our team in Bedworth. As a key member of our residential support team, you will be responsible for supporting adults aged 18+ with learning disabilities, complex health needs, and autistic spectrum disorders.

We are looking for an individual who is proactive, flexible, and possesses a team mentality. Your role will involve assisting residents with daily duties, such as managing money, household chores, and preparing meals. You will also actively support residents in enjoying social activities, attending work and college, and staying safe while managing risks.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to build strong relationships with service users, and be willing to learn and develop their skills. In return, we offer a competitive salary of £11.44 per hour, paid induction training, regular refresher training, supervision, and employee recognition.

Previous experience is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. All applications will be subject to DBS checks and references. A full driving license is preferable.
