About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Turning Point. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to adults with learning disabilities, helping them to live independently and achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support to individuals with varying levels of learning disabilities
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as cleaning and cooking
- Support individuals to participate in activities and outings
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users and their families
- Contribute to a person-centered approach, focusing on individual needs and goals
Requirements:
- Flexibility and patience when working with individuals with complex needs
- Ability to complete physical aspects of the role, such as manual handling
- Non-judgmental approach and willingness to learn
