Care Support Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Support Specialist to join our team in Nuneaton. As a Care Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting an individual with Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) and a mild/moderate learning disability in their community.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the individual with personal care and daily living tasks
- Develop a good relationship with the individual to enable them to feel safe in the community
- Use effective communication skills to support the individual's needs and preferences
- Work collaboratively with other professionals involved in the individual's support
Requirements
- Experience in supporting individuals with autism and PDA
- Ability to use language effectively to support the individual's needs
- Consistency in support approach
- Ability to work well as part of a team
