About the Opportunity

We are seeking a talented individual to fill the position of Service Unit Manager for our Leaving Care Service in Tameside. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to take on a leadership role and make a real difference in the lives of care leavers.

As Service Unit Manager, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day leadership and strategic support to a busy service. You will manage a team of four team managers, each with their own staff team and area of service development focus.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant social work qualification and a successful track record of managing a social work team in a public service organization. They will be passionate about supporting young people who are care leavers and care experienced to achieve independence.
