Kingcome Sofas, a renowned luxury furniture manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join their leadership team.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving efficiencies and maximizing performance as a key business partner to the Design Director and Operations team. They will oversee all finance and payroll matters for the site, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts and sales invoices
- Maintain personnel and pension records
- Manage credit control and quarterly VAT returns
- Assist with annual audit and budget preparation
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Strong leadership experience in an SME environment
- Hands-on operator with excellent technical ability
- Friendly personality able to build relationships across the business
