Job Summary
Kingcome Sofas, a leading manufacturer of luxury sofas and chairs, is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join their leadership team. Reporting to the Colefax Group Finance Director, this key role will drive efficiencies to maximise performance and contribute to the company's continued success.

About the Company
Kingcome Sofas is a subsidiary of Colefax Group Plc, a listed company with a strong reputation for design and distribution of luxury furnishing fabrics and wallpapers. The company has a small finance team and a freehold factory in Devon, employing 45 staff including an accounts team of two. With annual sales of approximately £3 million, Kingcome Sofas offers a unique opportunity for a hands-on Finance professional to make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities
As Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:
• Preparing monthly management accounts and payroll
• Maintaining personnel and pension records
• Managing credit control and preparing sales invoices
• Preparing annual budget and reporting pack for Colefax Group Plc
• Managing annual audit and corporation tax information
• Periodic sales and profit forecasts for Colefax Group
• Ad hoc responsibilities as required by the business

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Strong leadership experience in an SME environment
• Hands-on operator with commercial acumen
• Friendly personality able to build relationships across the wider business
• Experience partnering with non-finance stakeholders
• Strong technical ability to ensure accurate financial and management reporting

What's on Offer
In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary of around £65,000 per annum, plus 10% bonus and 5% matched pension. You will also enjoy 25 days holiday and access to healthcare benefits.
