Financial Manager

As a Financial Manager with Westcountry HR, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective financial management and performance of the company. This includes delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, ensuring all statutory requirements and obligations are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement an annual financial strategy and budget to drive growth.
- Collaborate with the Finance Assistant to produce timely and accurate statutory financial accounts within agreed timelines.
- Produce accurate monthly management accounts, including analysis and insights.
- Manage monthly payroll, benefits, and bonus schemes.
- Provide financial reporting through P&L, Balance Sheet, and supporting analysis.
- Ensure statutory tax compliance, including corporation tax and VAT.
- Lead, coach, and develop the finance team, focusing on skills enhancement and process improvements.
A successful candidate should be a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with prior experience in a similar role. The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on location and qualifications.
