Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Management Professional to join our team in Plymouth and Exeter. As a key member of our financial management team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial record keeping.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum AAT qualification of Level 2 and significant experience in bookkeeping and accounting. Proficiency in Xero and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is essential. You should also have excellent organisational skills and the ability to work independently.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Bank reconciliations
  • Cash flow management
  • Inputting sales and purchase invoices
  • Credit control and collections
  • Paying creditors
  • Reconciling PayPal and Shopify receipts
  • Managing prepayments and accruals
  • Preparing sales and expenses reports
  • Preparing commission statements and making payments
  • Petty cash reconciliation
  • VAT management
  • Credit card expense reconciliation
  • Providing information for payroll providers
  • Management accounts and cash forecasting
  • Ad hoc reporting as required

In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary of approximately £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will enjoy a range of benefits including:
