Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure day-to-day service availability and maintenance of all IT infrastructure services, both premise-based and cloud-hosted.
  • Manage the deliverables of the IT infrastructure team, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Evaluate services, plan, and manage their improvement to meet business needs.
  • Develop and train direct reports, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Maintain comms rooms and services, ensuring secure power supply.
  • Oversee activities align with Business Process, managing costs associated with cloud solutions.
  • Protect confidential information shared in confidence, adhering to role-specific obligations.
  • Work collaboratively with internal colleagues, consultants, and third parties to achieve goals.
  • Oversee security services, including firewalls, penetration testing, and compliance updates.
  • Participate in the Security Board and contribute to strategic decisions.
  • Organize team meetings and workshops, promoting effective communication.
  • Guarantee sufficient testing for new and updated services.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for solutions and services.
  • Be an escalation point for Out-of-Hours support and ensure infrastructure coverage is always available.
