Estates Director

We are seeking an exceptional leader to drive change and innovation within our Corporate Landlord function. As Interim Director of Property and Estates, you will be responsible for crafting a strategy that balances ambition with responsibility, creating a positive impact across our property and estate services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the strategic management of Nottingham City Council's commercial and operational estate.
- Lead the Corporate Landlord model, ensuring a unified approach to asset management, property maintenance, and facilities services.
- Guide the asset disposal programme, managing high-profile, complex disposals.
- Ensure our property portfolio is compliant, efficient, and aligned with the council's vision.
About the Role:
This is a hybrid role, with a mix of leadership and operational responsibilities. You will be responsible for leading a diverse portfolio, overseeing Strategic Asset Management, Facilities Management, Building Services, and more. Your leadership will help ensure Nottingham's assets are safe, well-maintained, and serve the city's needs.
