Nursing Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nursing Associate to join our team at Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust. As a Nursing Associate, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to older adults with physical health needs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver physical health clinics with a focus on compassionate and personalised care.
- Conduct comprehensive physical health assessments, including vital signs and phlebotomy, and complete monitoring forms.
- Take a medical history, including family history and lifestyle issues, and follow up on national screening programmes.
- Support in developing person-centred plans for service users, taking into consideration physical health risks and needs.
- Work independently under the leadership of registered nurses, adhering to nationally recognised codes of conduct and standards of proficiency.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, patients, and families, ensuring privacy, dignity, and safety at all times.
- Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC register.
- Community experience of working with older adults with mental health problems.
- Ability to undertake and understand physiological measurements and observations, pulse oximetry, and general observations.
- Ability to travel to NHS and Local Authority sites and patients' homes.
