Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Insurance Brokerage Account Manager to join our Public Sector team in Scotland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service and building strong relationships with clients from various public sector organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective service plans to meet client needs
  • Prepare and present renewal reports and other client documents
  • Maintain regular communication with clients and insurers to address queries and alterations
  • Negotiate new business terms, renewal terms, and mid-term adjustments
  • Support marketing and tender processes to achieve optimal solutions for clients
  • Establish and develop effective working relationships with insurers
  • Meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliverables
  • Collaborate with line managers, team members, and client managers to achieve shared goals

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in insurance brokerage, preferably in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of FCA principles and procedures, as well as major and pecuniary classes, property/casualty, and combined
  • Experience with procurement and tender processes is desirable
  • Organizational skills with ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
