Our client, a growing SME based in Widnes, is seeking an Accounting Department Head to lead their finance team. As a key member of the senior management team, you will be responsible for managing the finance function, providing expert advice, and implementing effective financial processes.

The ideal candidate will have experience in financial leadership, including financial planning, budgeting, and financial reporting. They will be responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies, managing the finance team, and ensuring all statutory obligations are met.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the finance team and providing guidance on financial processes
  • Developing and implementing financial strategies to drive business growth
  • Providing expert advice on financial matters to the business owners
  • Ensuring all statutory obligations are met

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
