The Role

We're seeking an experienced Learning and Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Complex Care department, you'll play a vital role in identifying training needs and developing engaging learning programs that meet the unique requirements of our teams.


Your Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough learning needs analyses to identify gaps in knowledge and skills.
  • Design and develop high-quality learning content that aligns with regulatory standards and best practices in complex care.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs, gathering feedback to inform continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with operational leaders and external partners to ensure training initiatives are relevant and impactful.

What You'll Need

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A health and social care qualification, such as SVQ/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience working with individuals with complex physical or mental health needs and developing engaging learning resources.
  • Familiarity with Positive Behavioural Support (PBS) practices and managing behaviours that challenge.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £32,000 - £37,000, plus a £3,000 car allowance. You'll also enjoy flexibility in your working hours, with the option to work from home or our head office in Widnes.
