Job Title: Third Party Liability Claims Handler

CV-Library is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our fast-growing business as a Third Party Liability Claims Handler. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, manage a caseload of claims, and meet customer expectations while adhering to client Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

The successful candidate will have a salary of approximately £32,500 per annum, based on industry standards and location.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage a caseload of third-party claims from inception to conclusion.
  2. Action new claims within 24 hours of receipt, following the client's agreed validation process.
  3. Provide excellent customer service, answering enquiries by phone, email, or in writing, using the correct greeting and Data Protection Act (DPA) procedure.
  4. Educate customers on their rights and responsibilities, dealing with enquiries in a clear and concise manner.
  5. Escalate any expressions of dissatisfaction in accordance with the agreed complaints process, ensuring customer expectations are met and SLAs are maintained.
  6. Ensure accurate calculation of claim reserves, payments, and Large Movement Reports, adhering to client procedures and service standards.
  7. Investigate and resolve claims in a professional, timely, and proactive manner, applying sound judgment and discretion.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They should be aware of motor fraud indicators and risk factors for large loss/catastrophic claims, including the escalation process, and ensure all policy and procedure documents are read and understood.
