Job Title: Account Handler
About The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Account Handler to join our team at The Recruiter Ltd in Southend on Sea, Essex. As an Account Handler, you will be responsible for managing client accounts, processing transactions, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cash Matching & Allocation: Verify and allocate cash receipts to client accounts.
- Preparing statements: Prepare detailed statements for clients, underwriters, and third-party accounts.
- Credit Control: Run fortnightly credit control reports and chase outstanding premium payments.
- General Administration: Perform general office duties, including answering phone calls, scanning, and filing documents.
Requirements:
- 5 years of IBA experience
- Strong numerical and literacy skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, and Outlook) or similar software applications
- Knowledge of Brokasure
- Ability to manage time, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines
Salary Information:
The estimated salary for this role is £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
