Casualty Claims Manager

We are seeking a skilled Casualty Claims Handler to manage a portfolio of public and employers' liability claims for local government clients. This role is ideal for someone who can handle claims from first notification to settlement, making decisions on liability, fraud, and quantum, and overseeing cases through litigation.
Job Requirements:
- Able to review and record claims on our in-house system, checking policy coverage and allocating appropriate codes and reserves.
- Skilled in making liability enquiries using the most appropriate method (phone, correspondence, field visit).
- Able to respond to written and phone enquiries clearly, courteously, and promptly.
- Able to review claims regularly to ensure accurate reserves and timely closure.
