About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Coel, a leading commercial design and fit-out company. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and driving growth within the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Identify and nurture new business opportunities to generate leads and drive revenue growth.
  2. Manage and qualify inbound leads in your region, utilizing your expertise in market trends and competitor activity.
  3. Develop and implement strategic business development plans to increase Coel's presence in key markets.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners, fostering a culture of collaboration and mutual benefit.
  5. Work closely with the Marketing team to develop target lists and execute effective marketing strategies.
  6. Attend networking events and meetings to build local profile and establish Coel as a thought leader in the industry.
  7. Report on BD activities, including contacts, meetings, and leads, to ensure transparency and accountability.
About You:
  1. Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with a strong track record of success.
  2. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and partners.
  3. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to analyze complex market trends and competitor activity.
  4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and a real team player, with a collaborative mindset and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
  5. Familiarity with local markets and a deep understanding of the commercial design and fit-out industry.
  6. Experience managing data and working with CRM systems, ideally HubSpot, with a strong understanding of lead/contact management systems.
  7. Knowledge of market trends and competitor activity, with the ability to analyze and interpret data to inform business decisions.
  8. Construction/Fit-out experience would be an advantage, but not essential.
