Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive administrator with bookkeeping experience to join our team at Buckland Care.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts for our care home, communicating accurate information to the Finance Department, and assisting the Home Manager with various tasks.
Key Responsibilities:- Consolidate payroll data for submission to external payroll providers
- Recruit new staff, send offer letters, medical questionnaires, new start forms, and contracts
- Process new employee vetting, including DBS checks and reference requests
- Maintain staff and resident files
- Update training matrices
- Order supplies and arrange contractors
- Verify receipt of goods and send resident invoices
- Allocate payments from residents and the local authority
- Report weekly and monthly to Head Office
Requirements:
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Previous experience in office administration, invoicing, bookkeeping, and payroll
- Knowledge of Adult Social Care funding systems and Xero software (training provided)
Salary: From £13.50 per hour
