About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Maintenance Scheduler to join our team at Hireo. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring that repairs and maintenance jobs are carried out efficiently. You will liaise with contractors, suppliers, and customers, coordinating operatives and keeping customers updated throughout the repair process.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently schedule and manage operatives' diaries, ensuring appointments are met and rescheduled if necessary.

• Track repairs from start to finish, ensuring all jobs are completed within the target timescales.

• Assign the right jobs to the appropriate operatives, ensuring they have the materials needed and minimal travel time.

• Provide exceptional customer care, keeping tenants informed and resolving issues in the most cost-effective way.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you will need:

• At least 3 years of scheduling or coordination experience (experience in the social housing, cleaning, or maintenance sector is a bonus but not essential).

• Strong ability to prioritise tasks, manage workloads, and meet deadlines under pressure.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to handle calls professionally and empathetically.

• A positive attitude, ready to take initiative and problem-solve independently.

• High level of accuracy in managing schedules and data.
