Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced candidate to fill the role of Clinical Equipment Coordinator at South Central Ambulance Service NHS. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Clinical Equipment Manager in the maintenance and repair of medical devices, ensuring compliance with Trust policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with experience in office administration and customer service. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Support the Clinical Equipment Manager in the maintenance and repair of medical devices, ensuring compliance with Trust policies and procedures.
  2. Assist with the development and review of policies and procedures related to medical devices, including the Trust Medical Devices Policy.
  3. Provide administrative support to the Clinical Equipment Manager, including minute taking and record keeping.
  4. Monitor and oversee the diary of the Clinical Equipment Manager, scheduling appointments and meetings as necessary.
  5. Assist with the procurement of medical devices, including evaluation documents and adjudication matters.
Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3 GCSE grade A-C including English Language or equivalent.
  • Office administration experience, including customer service and minute taking.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
