UK Planning Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced UK Planning & Scheduling Manager to join our team at Wavin UK, an Orbia business. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth planning and scheduling of our production processes to meet customer demands.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement short and long-term production plans to optimize product availability and minimize inventory levels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address supply chain constraints and opportunities for improvement.
- Manage and coordinate material planners and detailed schedulers to execute supply scenarios and ensure timely delivery of products.
- Monitor and analyze production performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including customer service, purchasing, and manufacturing teams.
- Lead and develop a team of 5 direct subordinates to ensure they have the necessary skills and competencies to perform their roles effectively.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in production and material planning in a big-scale production environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with internal stakeholders.
- Knowledge of SAP R/3 (MM and PP), APO SNP, and Reporting & Analytics: SAP BW / BO, MS Office.
- Experience in manufacturing production planning and stock management in a high-volume environment.
