We are seeking a highly skilled UK Planning & Scheduling Manager to join our team at Wavin UK, an Orbia business. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth planning and scheduling of our production processes to meet customer demands.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement short-term and long-term production plans to optimize product availability and minimize inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address supply chain constraints and opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead a team of 7 direct subordinates to ensure effective planning and scheduling of production processes.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of production planning and scheduling.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in production planning and scheduling in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of SAP R/3 (MM and PP), APO SNP, and Reporting & Analytics: SAP BW / BO, MS Office.
  • Experience in manufacturing production planning and stock management in a high-volume environment.
