UK Planning Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced UK Planning & Scheduling Manager to join our team at Wavin UK, an Orbia business. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth planning and scheduling of our production processes to meet customer demands.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement short and long-term production plans to optimize product availability and minimize inventory levels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate supply chain risks and ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date production schedules, inventory levels, and material requirements.
- Analyze and optimize production processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Lead and develop a team of production planners and schedulers to ensure effective planning and execution of production activities.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in production planning and scheduling in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of improving production efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of SAP R/3 (MM and PP), APO SNP, and other relevant production planning and scheduling systems.
