At Wavin UK, an Orbia business, we are seeking a highly skilled UK Planning & Scheduling Manager to join our team in Chippenham, United Kingdom. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for short and long-term factory planning and scheduling, ensuring optimized product availability and driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the planning and scheduling process for assigned production plants, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and local production needs.
- Develop and implement tactical and operational plans to optimize production, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customer service, purchasing, and manufacturing, to ensure seamless execution of plans.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous process optimization.
- Lead and develop a team of 5 direct subordinates, providing guidance, coaching, and training to ensure they have the necessary skills and competencies to excel in their roles.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in production and material planning in a big-scale production environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of SAP R/3 (MM and PP), APO SNP, and Reporting & Analytics: SAP BW / BO, MS Office.
- Experience in manufacturing production planning and stock management in a high-volume environment.
