UK Planning Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced UK Planning & Scheduling Manager to join our team at Wavin UK, an Orbia business. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling production activities to ensure efficient and effective supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement short and long-term production plans to meet customer demands and optimize supply chain performance.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of production schedules and material planning.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components.
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels to minimize stockouts and overstocking.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs and improve profitability.
- Lead and develop a team of production planners and schedulers to ensure effective execution of production plans.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in production planning and scheduling in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in SAP R/3 (MM and PP) and APO SNP.
- Knowledge of reporting and analytics tools such as SAP BW/BO and MS Office.
