Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Support Specialist to join our team at Luxborough Court School, a brand-new purpose-built school for children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, collaborating with our highly trained staff to provide exceptional care and education for our young people.
About the Role:
This is a full-time position that requires a committed and caring individual who can provide support to our students in various aspects of their daily lives. You will be responsible for assisting our teaching staff in the classroom, facilitating group activities, and providing one-to-one support when needed.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
* Assisting teachers with lesson planning and delivery
* Supporting students with personal care routines and daily living tasks
* Facilitating group activities and outings to enhance student engagement and social skills
* Providing individualized support to students with specific needs
* Collaborating with other professionals to develop and implement personalized learning plans

Requirements:
