Teaching Personnel is a leading provider of education staff for schools and academies in the UK.

We are seeking an experienced Learning Support Specialist to join our team, providing tailored support to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering academic and emotional support to students facing SEMH challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Tailored Support: Delivering one-to-one tutoring sessions to students with SEMH needs, fostering their academic progress and personal development.
  2. Lesson Planning: Creating bespoke learning packages tailored to individual students' needs and learning styles, ensuring effective engagement and participation.
  3. Active Engagement: Helping students stay engaged and actively participate in the learning process, promoting a supportive and inclusive environment.
  4. Qualifications and Experience: Previous experience working with students with SEMH needs is essential; QTS is not required but relevant education qualifications or experience are highly desirable.
  5. Adaptability: Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to tailor teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of individual students.
  6. Competitive Salary: £30 per hour
